The toughest race in the game by raw stats, 40 max HP and steep damage reduction, paid for with a brutal weakness: any contact with rain or water deals 5 damage every second.

Passives & identity

The Ghoul has 40 max HP, twice the vanilla amount and the highest pool of any race, backed by stacking damage reduction. They're the designated tank.

The price: rain and water deal 5 damage per second (2.5 hearts). Standing in shallow water, getting caught in a storm without a roof, or trying to swim a river is rapidly fatal. A Ghoul has to plan routes around weather and water in a way no other race does, an entire layer of geography becomes hostile.

Abilities
Ghoulish Recruiting
Creates a Ghoulish item in the target's inventory, the recruiting item that turns whoever consumes it into a Ghoul. Subject to the server-wide recruiting-item limit.
Unholy Bond Active
Marks the target with an Unholy Bond for 2.5 minutes. While bonded, the target takes 4ร— extra damage from any source: but only quartered when the bonded target attacks the Ghoul, which means the Ghoul becomes a soft counter to their own mark. Re-application is blocked while a bond is active.
Summon Monster Summon
Spawns a random hostile mob (zombie, skeleton, spider, etc.) at the target's location, a chaos tool that lets the Ghoul make any encounter messier.

  • No outbound damage multipliers, the Ghoul wins fights through attrition, not burst.

Damage taken

  • 0.66ร— damage from entity attacks (player and mob hits).
  • 0.5ร— damage from environmental sources (lava, suffocation, etc.).
  • No fall damage.
Design notes

The Ghoul / Werewolf / Vampire trinity captures the plugin's identity nicely: each is a high-stat combatant with one specific environmental weakness that constrains how they play. Vampires fear daylight, Werewolves fear daylight, Ghouls fear water.
